Meals are served in the garden under the trees in summer and in winter dining takes place in the main guest lounge complete with fire place. .
The generous Onse Rus farmhouse breakfast is a real treat:

- Bacon and eggs with mouth-watering local preserves.
- We are also fully licensed and cater for large tour groups. Dinner is served upon request with a minimum of 4 guests booking - whether a simple omelette or a three course Karoo dinner. There are also a number of excellent restaurants all within walking distance from the guesthouse, should you wish to dine out.

With its beautifully furnished lounge leading onto a large shaded garden with swimming pool, bedrooms with French doors and shutters opening into the garden, the harshness of the Karoo yields gracefully to gentleness of the twilight hours.
Guest Rooms
With the owners' and guest accommodation and facilities are separate, guests are also afforded a level of privacy not normally associated with a guesthouse.
Each of Onse Rus' five air-conditioned guest rooms are infused with its own special character, including an en-suite bathroom. After taking in the fresh country air, a peaceful sleep in the comfortable beds with crisp percale linen is guaranteed.
